The story
I don't sell vending machines. I place them. I own them. I keep them FULL.
It started at midnight, on a base, in a hallway, in front of a machine with nothing in it.
Every machine was empty. Every time.
We'd get back late, and late is when you eat. Those machines were what we lived off. And there was nothing in them.
Military members are military members. They love a sweet treat, a snack, whatever. Doesn't sound like much. It does at midnight, when you're standing in front of the glass and none of it is yours.
That's where the idea sparked. Not in a business book. In a hallway, in front of an empty machine.
I'm a Marine. The Marine Corps is where I became who I am. If you'd met me before, you'd be shocked I turned into this. It was my bread and butter. If there was one thing I was really good at, that was it. DISCIPLINE and GRIT are what I kept.
The work ethic came before that. I was in fourth grade when my dad got laid off, in the stretch where they were letting a lot of people go. I watched that man work hard at everything he ever touched. He'd tell you he's not perfect. He'd be right. He also never quit on a job.
That's the bar I've been chasing ever since.
After the service: EMT. Came within an inch of firefighting. Then welding. Eighty-hour weeks.
I started Veteran Vends in 2025 in the middle of those weeks, calling warehouses out of my truck between shifts. Nobody handed me a route. I called this company into existence, and I'd do it again tomorrow.
Fun fact. Bought the truck in January. Fifteen thousand miles on it by August. My wife is pretty sure I live in it. She's not far off.
Today the government trusts us with machines on military establishments. That's the peak of this business and the part I'm proudest of. The empty machines I lived with, I get to make sure the next guys never see them.

The goal is simple. Be the operator a property manager never has to think about.
I'll take fast when I can get it. I'll take it done RIGHT every single time.
